i wanna go but i can't get a ride, un! T_T my mom won't drive me and she won't let anyone but a 'trusted adult' drive me.

If you plan a little further ahead, she might let you go next year. I know it is sort of a stretch, but AI is just a few months away, so it might be hard to get a hotel room...which you might want if you were going to a different state...

But that reminds me of AD. My mom wasn't registered, so she just sorta chilled and ended up talking to this couple from Michigan that had to sleep in their car for the entire con...that would suck >.<

i asked her about anime iowa back in january. i also asked about no brand, sogen, ai-kon, acen, and detour. detour's the only one that she'll let me go to because it's such a short driving distance.

I'd still suggest getting a room at Detour anyways...that way you can stay for the rave :3

that's why i'm hoping to get a room with the anime club. if that doesn't work then i might be able to stay in my friend katt's room but she'll only be 19 so there's a very low chance that my mom will let me do that. i just don't want to have to be driven from my dad's house each morning and leave the con at 9 each night like i did this year.
